DescriptionOur organization, with a $121,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant over 24 months, will recover and build its resiliency from impacts of COVID-19 by hiring a Communications Specialist to implement communications and fundraising plans, providing monthly wellness workshops for staff and establishing our identity through long-term strategic planning.
Grant resultDevelop and implement medium to long-term plans to address new organizational needs related to COVID-19 and/or prepare for change such as: revenue generation, strategic planning, research and development, and resource, knowledge and data sharing. (e.g., Organizational training and coaching, strategic planning and implementation, operational planning, reopening planning, develop fundraising plans, strategic planning for mergers, seek opportunities for public-private partnerships and social finance), Provide supports to staff and volunteers to adapt to organizational changes related to COVID-19. (e.g., Mental and physical health and wellbeing supports, peer learning, professional development, networking)
