DescriptionOur organization, with a $57,200 Resilient Communities Fund grant over 24 months, will recover and build its resiliency from impacts of COVID-19 by updating technology and adding space to offer new Indigenous-focused mental health programming and increase client base in existing mental health services.
Grant resultAdapt or add-new program and service delivery to meet the changing needs of the community because of COVID-19. (e.g., Research and development, identify new health and safety processes and required personal protective equipment, technology supports, staffing and volunteer recruitment and training, community consultation to understand emerging needs related to COVID recovery, resource, knowledge and data sharing, feasibility studies), Expand previously adapted programs and services to meet the changing needs of the community because of COVID-19. (e.g., Continue program/service previously adapted to meet needs arising from COVID-19, scale access to program/service previously adapted to meet needs arising from COVID-19, continue programs meeting a community need arising from COVID-19, improve quality of programs already being delivered), Meet public health guidelines, safely deliver programs and services and/or prepare for future disruptions through the purchase of necessary equipment and/or technological infrastructure. (e.g., Identify fundraising and financial technology resource, equipment to meet changing technology, or convert to cloud-based data systems to enable business continuity in future work disruptions, procure technology to effectively transition between office and home working conditions, planning and/or procurement needed to meet relevant public health standard)
