DescriptionOur organization, with a $100,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant over 12 months, will build its resilience and sustainability by adding new adaptive fitness and aquatics programs and equipment to meet the needs of people with disabilities in an accessible environment.
Grant resultProvide supports to staff and volunteers to adapt to organizational changes related to COVID-19. (e.g., Mental and physical health and wellbeing supports, peer learning, professional development, networking), Adapt or add-new program and service delivery to meet the changing needs of the community because of COVID-19. (e.g., Research and development, identify new health and safety processes and required personal protective equipment, technology supports, staffing and volunteer recruitment and training, community consultation to understand emerging needs related to COVID recovery, resource, knowledge and data sharing, feasibility studies)
