DescriptionDelivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $81,300 grant over 1 year to provide access to birth care, including services of a birth worker (Doula), traditional medicines, teachings and ceremony as well as provide support from reproductive care through to post-natal and child rearing stages from a culturally rooted perspective for Anishinaabe parents, guardians, caregivers and birth helpers living in Lake of the Woods (Treaty #3) area.
