Celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in Ontario

Throughout June, the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) celebrates and recognizes Pride Month.

Pride is a celebration led by the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and is rooted in the resistance against oppression and the desire to live authentically and without fear. Organizations that help create safe spaces and offer tailored programming and services play an important role in building healthy and vibrant communities. This month is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of 2SLGBTQIA+ people while building on that legacy to create an Ontario that is a safe and inclusive place for all.

Since 2015, OTF has invested $12.6 million to support projects that benefit 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across the province. This investment acknowledges the hard work and commitment of non-profits delivering essential community-based programming to support people with diverse identities and lived experiences.

OTF recognizes the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion and is committed to driving positive change for Ontario’s diverse communities. As an employer, OTF fosters an inclusive workplace and actively works to ensure an environment free of discrimination. We also recognize the value diverse experiences and voices bring to our organization.
