Ontario Trillium Foundation announces over $37 million for 225 project

The Foundation is investing:

• Over $17 million in 33 projects with provincial impact;
• Over $16.8 million in 185 Capital Grants; and,
• Over $3.1 million in 7 Collective Impact Grants

Projects with provincial impact increase the reach of a project, or replicate, and adapt a new or successful project with a broad geographical reach.

The Ontario Justice Education Network was awarded a $389,800 grant for an expansion of the Youth-Police Dialogues initiative that will build relationships between police, and racialized, newcomer, and Indigenous youth.

Capital Grants broaden access to and improve community space.

With their $148,000 grant, Roots to Harvest will renovate their community space promoting social inclusion for youth.

Collective Impact Grants bring together partners from various sectors and tackle complex community issues that achieve lasting change.

The Ontario Parasport Collective received the largest grant the Ontario Trillium Foundation has awarded. The $2.4-million grant for the Ontario Parasport Strategy will ensure that Ontario’s almost 1.85 million disabled children, youth and adults have increased access to parasport programs.
