Description$500,000 over 48 months to engage 350 Black youths in and leaving care throughout the GTA (Toronto, Peel, Durham, York and Halton regions) in a series of outreach and engagement activities to develop consistent and supportive mentoring relationships. Youth will be connected to mentors through monthly capacity building opportunities, and annual retreats to form supportive mentoring relationship that foster life skills for living independently, post-secondary education and social support system to combat social isolation.
