DescriptionDelivering a project that builds on the success of a proven model or program with a $499,600 grant over 48 months to address issues around self-identity and confidence for 12-16 year-old Black young women in Toronto. The grant assist with a culturally-driven component to hiphop and gymnastics programs that promote leadership abilities. Girl Power’d will offer four cycles of 10-week programs, with an additional two cultural sessions, and annual performances involving program participants
