DescriptionSupporting collaborative work with a $457,900 grant over 2 years to conduct the groundwork and develop approaches to increase educational attainment for Indigenous youth in Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation. The objective will be to explore holistic and effective mechanisms to engage youth, establish a student-centered approach, incorporate Indigenous ways of knowing to existing curriculums to enhance learning, and create accessible learning opportunities for youth wanting to live in community and participate in the national economy.
