DescriptionOur organization, with a $192,700 Resilient Communities Fund grant over 24 months, will build its resilience and sustainability by providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to 100 youth to strengthen mental health coping skills as well as training staff in trauma-informed practice.
Grant resultProvide supports to staff and volunteers to adapt to organizational changes related to COVID-19. (e.g., Mental and physical health and wellbeing supports, peer learning, professional development, networking), Expand previously adapted programs and services to meet the changing needs of the community because of COVID-19. (e.g., Continue program/service previously adapted to meet needs arising from COVID-19, scale access to program/service previously adapted to meet needs arising from COVID-19, continue programs meeting a community need arising from COVID-19, improve quality of programs already being delivered)
