DescriptionDelivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $255,000 grant over 3 years to develop and deliver monthly workshops and storytelling sessions, plan and teach weekly Swahili courses, run a book club, and host events like cultural weekend (during Black History month) and an annual camp for 200 Black Francophone parents, guardians and caregivers in Greater Toronto and Hamilton, aiming to help them recognize the greatness of their cultural heritage to foster their confidence and self-esteem.
