DescriptionDelivering a project that builds on the success of a proven model or program with a $375,000 grant over 3 years to create a safe space and offer a series of immersive hide tanning activities to generate a youth-led cultural preservation and revitalization for Indigenous women, girls and 2SLGBTQIAA+ youth aged 16-29 in Southern Ontario, providing intensive, land-based training for traditional hide tanning skills, teachings and responsibilities to strengthen connections to Indigenous identity and culture.
