This will help the organization meet the demand for services in outlying areas, enable it to continue diverting waste from landfill sites and provide volunteer opportunities for local residents.

This new, efficient equipment will decrease power and water consumption and allow snowmaking to begin earlier in the season. $79,200 over 24 monthsTo hire a part-time community placement coordinator and a part-time fundraising coordinator for PADDLE, a learning program for adults with special needs. The organization will be better equipped to help participants identify and obtain meaningful employment and volunteer experiences in the community. Its improved financial situation will help ensure the program's sustainability.
$4,500 over 6 monthsTo install a ramp and improve drainage to the building. These upgrades will ensure people of all ages and abilities can access this busy community centre to participate in a variety of recreation and social events and activities.

These living histories will be recorded and published in CD format and become a permanent record in the Local History Collection at the Bracebridge Public Library.
