To improve the organization’s theatre space by repairing the stage rigging, upgrading the lighting, replacing the projector and purchasing blinds for the upper lobby. These improvements will enable the theatre to continue to operate at a professional level, develop new programs and improve efficiencies. The P.C. Ho Theatre, located within the Centre in Scarborough, has served over 400,000 people since opening seven years ago.

To support a project coordinator to implement a civic education program in Scarborough to enable newcomers to learn about Canada's political system and civic culture. A research component and a Community of Practice will help to build knowledge on what makes for an effective community-based civic engagement initiative.

To hire a project coordinator to deliver healthy and sustainable food programs and workshops to learn to grow, choose, prepare and sell healthy food. Project WEALTH (We Enable, Affirm, Lead, Thrive, & Honour) will enable over 1,000 women, teenagers, seniors, new comers and people with low income in Scarborough to improve their well-being through food skills development and community engagement opportunities.

To teach computer gaming skills to 120 participants aged 16 and older who reflect Toronto's cultural, gender and social diversity. This project will bring more voices to Toronto’s game community while increasing participant access to education about a creative medium with many job opportunities.

To conduct Phase 2 of a research study engaging 200 people with disabilities in Toronto in 20 peer-led focus groups on the topic of aging with a disability. A final research paper, disseminated broadly, will help policy makers identify service gaps and required resources, and make recommendations to inform and improve the work of the 12 organizations in the Aging With a Disability Working Group.

To expand programs serving the vulnerable and at-risk in the Lawrence Heights and Westminster-Branson neighborhoods of north-west Toronto. These programs include Yenta's Kitchen meal production, Baker’s Dozen cooking program for at-risk youth, as well as weekly socio/educational groups for seniors.

To purchase two eight-passenger vehicles, which will provide 6,000 rides annually, maintaining access to health care appointments and social and recreational activities for seniors, the frail elderly and people with disabilities in Toronto.

To modify and expand the peer-led grief support program for youth to be more accessible and better meet the needs of youth, moving to a flexible drop-in model to be offered at six locations in priority neighbourhoods across the city, and increasing supports to schools.
