To deliver 50 board leadership development training sessions to not-for-profit organizations in Toronto. The initiative will target groups serving youth, marginalized individuals and newcomers. The capacity of the organizations will be strengthened by being matched with chartered accountants seeking to serve with these organizations as board members or treasurers.

To increase community outreach and partnership-building efforts to deepen the impact of this social finance enterprise across Toronto. Workshops on financial literacy, business planning and business skills development will also be delivered to disadvantaged individuals, increasing their opportunities to receive a microloan.

To provide South Asian seniors with accessible, culturally specific and integrated physical recreation opportunities. Tamil- and Bengali-speaking outreach workers will be hired to coordinate programming at Birchmount Bluffs Neighbourhood Centre, West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre, Warden Woods Neighbourhood Centre and Harmony Hall Centre for Seniors in Toronto.

The Toronto festival celebrates and promotes French language cinema by presenting films from worldwide Francophone communities including Ontario and Québec.

This will enhance the theatre's capacity to deliver high-calibre, culturally-specific performance training and to interpret, present and develop contemporary Aboriginal theatrical works in downtown west Toronto.

To expand the Grassroots Organizing and Leadership (GOAL) Youth Capacity Building Workshop Series to provide Toronto youth with the skills, resources, networks and opportunities to support their life goals. Funds will be used to offer more workshops per year and in new locations, expand their content, enhance online learning, offer youth facilitation training and improve evaluation activities.

To provide art-based activities to residents of the Villaways neighbourhood at Leslie and Sheppard in Toronto, a public housing community slated for revitalization. Arts will be used to help residents process their thoughts and feelings about the displacement and revitalization process. Funding will support staffing and artists fees, program expenses and evaluation, and creation of a model for other areas undergoing revitalization.
