This grant will address the systemic underemployment of youth in Canada starting in Ontario. Specifically, it will look to large corporate employers to take leading roles in re-engaging youth aged 15 to 29 who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET) on the pathway to employment.

Supporting the positive development of children and youth, this initiative is helping youth be involved in creating solutions for challenges facing their communities, and has an impact on the lives of 4,000 people in the community.

Delivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $30,200 grant over 10 months to provide staffing and program costs to establish a wheelchair basketball program for women and girls. Fostering more active lifestyles, this initiative is helping programs be safe, inclusive, and fair, and has an impact on the lives of 63 people in the community.

Delivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $42,300 grant over 12 months to support First Nation, youth-led initiatives in Thunder Bay and Sudbury, building better relationships with police. Supporting the positive development of children and youth, this initiative is helping youth be involved in creating solutions for challenges facing their communities, and has an impact on the lives of  30,000 people in the community.

Delivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $69,900 grant over 12 months to create a toolkit that supports Aboriginal entrepreneurs as they start and grow businesses. Enhancing people’s economic wellbeing, this initiative is helping people have the skills and knowledge to achieve greater financial independence, and has an impact on the lives of 29,965 people in the community.

Delivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $30,000 grant over 12 months to create 10 teachers' classroom guides, ranging from kindergarten to Grade 12, to accompany environmental films. Encouraging people to support a healthy and sustainable environment, this initiative is helping people connect with the environment and understand their impact on it, and has an impact on the lives of  6,000 people in the community.

Delivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $75,000 grant over 11 months to develop a multi-phase initiative that positions wetlands as green infrastructure, promoting community resiliency and well-being. Encouraging people to support a healthy and sustainable environment, this initiative is helping conservation and restoration efforts be better planned and more sustainable, and has an impact on the lives of 99,999 people in the community.

Delivering a project at the idea or conceptual stage with a $75,000 grant over 12 months to host Youth Speak Out Storytellers digital workshops in Toronto and Guelph for youth in/from government care. Supporting the positive development of children and youth, this initiative is helping youth facing barriers volunteer and are in leadership roles, and has an impact on the lives of  45 people in the community.
