To hire staff to support youth to strengthen the NGen Youth Centre, a downtown youth-led community hub that empowers diverse youth to take on leadership roles and ensure their voices are heard on relevant community issues.

To increase capacity by renovating the building in order to expand programming for youth at risk in Hamilton as well as bring all current programming in house. Grant will also have beneficial environmental impacts, reducing transportation costs, heating costs, electrical costs and water usage.

To convert a storage building into a fitness studio that will provide physical fitness opportunities for residents of residential care facilities in the Stinson neighbourhood of downtown Hamilton. Students from Mohawk College will carry out the renovation work as part of an ongoing partnership between the College and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
