To facilitate the development of a collaborative program focused on increasing high school graduation rates for youth from the Eagle Place neighbourhood in Brantford. Grant funds will be used to hire a co-ordinator to assist with ongoing planning and partnership development, and also to pilot an after school and support program for youth.

To increase awareness of Six Nations heritage by upgrading historic displays at this site in Brantford. Grant funds will be used to renovate the bell display and a look out point that marks where First Nations people arriving by canoe along the Grand River disembarked to access the chapel grounds.

To increase safety for players of youth football in Brantford and Brant County through the replacement of 80 helmets. The helmets are loaned to players and re-used from year to year, meaning that this investment will benefit a significant number of youth over time.

To hire an event coordinator to organize the first "Ride Don't Hide" event in Brant-Haldimand-Norfolk with the goal of raising awareness and helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health, while raising essential funds to support mental health programs. This one-time investment will enable the organization to foster the community support required to ensure this event becomes a successful annual signature event.

To increase awareness of water conservation issues for youth by supporting the continued development of the Haldimand Children's Water Festival. Grant funds will be used to assist with staffing, equipment rental and transporting students to the event and will allow the festival to acquire a solid base of volunteers and sponsors in order to ensure long-term sustainability.

To increase energy efficiency and enhance visitor experience by upgrading the museum's electrical system. This Brantford-based facility is home to the largest First Nations collection in Canada and is a top tourism site for the region.

To purchase and install seasonal lights in Clifton Park for use during Simcoe's Christmas Panorama. This free community festival is held each winter and attracts over 30,000 tourists and local residents every year.
