To increase wheelchair access to the Mohawk Chapel located on Six Nations territory in Brantford. This is the second phase of a major renovation project which has addressed structural upgrades to the 18th century chapel. This will allow the new basement interpretation centre to be accessed by wheelchair and a new ground floor accessible washroom will be built.

To increase support to people with developmental disabilities in Norfolk County through the implementation of a database which will make more efficient use of staff time in collecting, managing and reporting on service delivery.

To increase community awareness of the effects of poverty on mental health and healthy eating through a wide range of arts and community activities in Brantford neighbourhoods. The project will also engage local artists in poster and video campaigns and community arts projects to raise awareness of the impact of poverty.

To increase understanding and awareness of Caribbean culture through support for a new festival in Brantford which will include both musical entertainment and family-friendly workshops on Caribbean music, dance and culture. Grant funds will be used to increase audience size through securing high quality entertainment and enhancing the scope of marketing and promotion.

To raise awareness of opportunities for aging parents to plan ahead for support for their adult children with developmental disabilities. This will be done through an evaluation of the Haldimand Norfolk Seniors Partnership's work on this topic and the development of a strategic plan to guide the Partnership's future work.
