To enhance environmental sustainability of three wetlands by removing invasive species in Tiny Township. Summer students will be hired to help remove invasive species and a side-swing mower and trailer purchased to control and eradicate invasive species. Resources for elementary school youth education and volunteer training will enhance programming.

To help newcomers in York Region become better integrated into their new community through the delivery of the Parya Resources for Immigrant Media Education (PRIME) project. PRIME will train volunteers to produce informational videos and a weekly radio show, develop a web-based community forum, and create a web-based showcase of newcomer achievements.

To increase safety for players, spectators and community residents living near this well-used baseball diamond at Harry Misner Memorial Park in Port Dover. The existing backstop and fencing at first- and third-base will be replaced and enlarged. A lawn tractor will be provided to volunteers so that they can maintain the site.
