To train artists-facilitators and rehabilitation professionals to deliver arts programs for patients with chronic conditions and complex disabilities in hospitals in St. Catherines, Sudbury, Toronto, Thunder Bay and Windsor. Research on the efficacy, effectiveness and impact of this model will be widely shared with the arts and health communities.

To hire a coordinator to develop a volunteer and peer mentorship initiative for individuals living with mental health issues. Clients will be paired with trained community volunteers to accompany them to social and recreational activities. This will enhance the quality of life of many clients.

To install a nine-hole disc-golf course at Marsh Pond Park in Stratford. This will provide enhanced opportunities for recreational activity that are free-of-charge and accessible to people of all ages and abilities in the community.

To repair the roof of the Maitland Education and Recreation Centre, which will support the community's efforts to revitalize the facility and increase its use.

To strengthen suicide-prevention strategies in six high schools by introducing two best-practice models that have demonstrated significant impact in reducing youth suicide rates. The strategies will encourage help-seeking behavior, enhance peer-to-peer support systems and build the capacity of teachers, parents and students to assess suicide risk and support those at risk in the development of safety plans.

To hire a regional manager to manage four youth drop-in centres located in Brantford, Paris, St. George and Burford. Staff will improve programming to better meet the growing need for arts activities for youth aged 11 to 19 .

To host the 32nd World Shuffleboard Championships to be held in Midland. The August 2014 event will offer volunteer development programs, promote active living and provide legacy opportunities for shuffleboard clubs in Ontario.
