EPIC will work in partnership with Georgina Trades Training Inc. to replicate its model so that one or more social enterprises will be developed to support marginalized residents in Georgina.

Over 300 students will be brought into a community setting where they will learn how to be change makers, social entrepreneurs and active citizens. The program is designed to offer learning opportunities for those who face barriers to education.

To hire staff and purchase equipment that will help the organization host special events and a heritage festival, engage youth and become a stronger, more viable social enterprise. This will enable it to continue developing and promoting amateur and professional artists through programs such as its signature KANATA 1534 productions in Greater Sudbury and area.

To support the development and delivery of conflict-resolution workshops in order to build problem-solving and conflict- resolution skills and leadership abilities of children and youth from Ottawa. Using examples from the diplomatic efforts of the Cold War, up to 600 students in grades 3 to 12 will take on key roles of government in a simulated nuclear disaster scenario.
