Leadership Change at OTF
Chief Executive Officer, Andrea Cohen Barrack, will step down from OTF, effective April 21, 2017. She and Board Chair Janet Yale informed the Board of Directors this morning. In a simultaneous announcement, TD Bank shared that Andrea Cohen Barrack would be joining TD Bank as Vice President, Community Relations and Corporate Citizenship effective April 24, 2017.
Andrea joined OTF in 2012 following a lengthy career in community-based healthcare. She worked closely with the Board to develop and execute a new outcome-based strategy. Under her leadership the organization has become a leader in open data, measurement and evaluation and collective impact.

The Board will begin working with over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition and begin a recruitment process for a new CEO.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is an agency of the Government of Ontario, and one of Canada’s largest granting foundations. The mission of the agency is to build healthy and vibrant communities throughout Ontario by strengthening the capacity of the voluntary sector, through investments in community-based initiatives. With a budget of over $136 million, OTF awards grants to some 1,000 projects every year to achieve outcomes in six action areas.
