Do you have a Capital idea for a project? Or an idea for a project with provincial impact?

Want to learn how to apply for an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you will want to join us for a series of in-person workshops and webinars coming to a community near you. Let our experts take you through a Capital grant application in-person, and provide more details about projects with provincial impact. For those that can’t attend the in-person workshops, we have many webinars that you can join.

If you’re interested in Capital grants, ask yourself if your project can:

  • Enhance access to community spaces, programs, activities and services?
  • Enhance and build community spaces?
  • Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of programs?
  • Make better use of technological resources?

What is a Capital grant?

Watch this video to find out:

What is a project with provincial impact?

Projects with provincial impact are those that reach a minimum of three catchments, or two if one catchment is in the North (that includes the Northwestern – Algoma, Cochrane, Manitoulin, Sudbury – Muskoka, Nipissing, Parry Sound, Timiskaming catchments). The criteria for this program is the same as for the Grow Investment Stream, save and except for the scope, reach and impact of the project.

These half- and full-day workshops, led by experienced OTF staff, will take you through a Capital grant application step-by-step and give you tips about writing successful applications for projects with provincial impact. We want to help you strengthen your applications for Capital grants and projects with provincial impact so that you can avoid some of the common pitfalls and improve your chances of successfully making a positive impact in your community.

Please note:

If you’ve attended an in-person Grow grant workshop or webinar recently, and your project has provincial impact (it reaches at least three OTF catchments, or two if one is in the North), there is no need to attend an in-person workshop, please call in to an information session to learn more about projects with provincial impact. If you have not attended an in-person Grow grant session or webinar recently, please attend a webinar to learn about the top tips and pitfalls of applying to the provincial impact deadline.

deadlines:
